Summer is officially here. Well I guess not according to the calendar but these temps are saying otherwise. When it comes to summer workwear I like to keep it clean and simple. Here are three must have items for your summer work wardrobe:
- White shirt – I love white for the summer. It screams clean, fresh, crisp. The color white reflects sunlight keeping you feeling almost as cool as you look. My white shirt is from Loft. I love the feminine ruffle detail on the sleeves. This exact one is no longer available but I’ve linked similar here, here, and here.
- Pencil skirt – Summer means letting your legs see the light of day again. Time to show off yours with a skirt. This one is midi length and floral – a combo that simply melts my heart. The material on this skirt is cotton which is lightweight and perfect for the warmer temperatures.
- Block heel sandals – Move over stilettos, there’s a new sheriff in town. Can we talk about my gratitude for a good block heel? No more getting stuck in cobblestone. No more aerating the lawn. This type of heel makes adding height both comfortable and practical.
